According to Kerala Tourism, the recommended period to visit Meenmutty is from October to May, while visiting during the monsoon is not recommended.

4. Chethayalam Waterfalls: Best After the Rains

5. Banasura Meenmutty Waterfalls: Best from October to May

Not to be confused with the Meenmutty Waterfalls near the Ooty road, Banasura Meenmutty is another scenic waterfall attraction in Wayanad. The Wayanad tourism brochure lists it as a major waterfall attraction with a nature walk of around 3 km.
